Dai Sensei Meitoku Yagi - 1912–2003
- Student of Chojun Miyagi
- Only student authorized by Chojun Miyagi to open a dojo
- Officially appointed by the Miyagi family as successor in Okinawan Goju-Ryu after the death of Chojun Miyagi
- Was given Chojun Miyagi’s gi and obi
- Created and introduced all five Meibukan katas
Meitatsu Yagi Sensei - born in 1944
- Eldest son of Meitoku Yagi
- Founder and Past President of the International Meibukan Gojyu-Ryu Karate-Do Association
Akihito Yagi Sensei / Akihiro Yagi Sensei
